Guidelines and rules for renting White Electric Scooties from jdrides.
1. Required Documents & Age Eligibility
The rider must be at least 18 years of age at the time of taking handover of the E-Scooty.
Mandatory Verification Documents: Original Valid Indian Driving License (Two-Wheeler) and Original Aadhaar Card must be shown physically at our Tri Nagar shop.
Learner's License (LL) is not acceptable for self-drive rental.
2. Security Deposit & Instant Refund
A nominal refundable security deposit of ₹1,000 is required before taking possession of the White E-Scooty.
Deposit can be submitted via UPI, Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm, or Cash.
The security deposit is refunded immediately upon returning the vehicle in good working order without unnotified physical damage.
3. EV Battery & Charging Guidelines
The vehicle is handed over with a full or near-full battery charge (providing approx. 100-120 KM range).
A genuine portable smart home charger is supplied with every rental at zero extra charge.
Always plug the charger into a properly earthed, standard 3-pin household 15A/5A socket. Avoid using cheap multi-plugs.
Do not expose the charging socket or adapter to direct heavy rain or water immersion.
4. Traffic Laws & Helmet Mandatory
Wearing a helmet is strictly mandatory for the rider and pillion passenger under Delhi Traffic Police regulations. One sanitized ISI helmet is provided complimentary by jdrides.
Any traffic violations, e-challans, over-speeding fines, red light jumping, or unauthorized parking fines incurred during the rental period are the sole liability of the customer.
Riding under the influence of alcohol, narcotics, or dangerous stunt driving is strictly prohibited.
5. Vehicle Damage & Maintenance
Customer is requested to inspect the E-Scooty (body panels, lights, brakes, digital meter) and take photos before driving off.
Any physical damage caused to the vehicle during rental will be charged as per standard authorized repair replacement prices.
